While creating these concepts, we try to involve as many individuals as possible in a communal process, which becomes a main driving factor for us to do what we do. We are idealists believing in a do-it-yourself culture, favoring to build things from scratch and to reuse and recycle existing materials, rather than ordering new and prefabricated parts from the catalogue. Learning and growing through, as well as trusting in the process is what we value and what builds the core of our work ethic.
A process in which each individual taking part listens to the others and gets an equal chance to present their thoughts and ideas on the subject, without any prejudices and judgement. Final decisions are made consensually, meaning it will be discussed until everyone affected by it is equally satisfied with the outcome. In times of sensitive or arguable situations the decision taking authority will be a third party with higher experience on the subject.
We teach independence through self-empowerment, self-reliance and self-expression. We believe one has to be at peace with oneself first, to be able to act cooperatively and collaboratively in a collective. Our organisational structure is always open for new ideas and we invite everyone to take part in the process. To ensure full transparency, our financial structure will be made transparent on request to all interested members of the collective at all times.
